Title: message window
Post by: calan on October 31, 2006, 06:12:43 PM
Is there a way to turn off the message window when offline?

I want to get some screenshots... without the message window cluttering them up.

TIA

Not that Im aware of. Don't type anything?

You can also turn off the icons by hitting alt I and cycling through to no icons.

Hope this helps.

If you want a screen shot, use ALT S.  You will find the screen shot in BMP format in your Aces High 2 program folder.

If you want to get rid of the text window, the best you can do is to make it transparent.  The window will go away, but you can still see text.  Open your clipboard, click on Options, Preferences, then GUI.  Move the slider on the Message Window all the way to the right.

Thanks Gunner... that's what I ended up doing.. I'll just create a black mask for the text with an image editor.

Or you can film, and take your screen shot during playback.  There is no text buffer in the full screen playback mode.  Use the print_screen key, then paste the screen shot into an image program.

For example.
