Btw that map has 16 carriers hidden somewhere off Japan, see if you can find them.

PS..look deep

Actually, I don't remember the exact numbers, but I believe there are around 15 carrier task groups for each team (map has a 2 team design). I made that map a while ago and it somehow was brought up when I was building Japan and I offered to fix it up for online use, and thar she blows!

It wasn't available yet. Or maybe it got lost during the update, but it wasn't there now...
Title: Two small typos
Post by: sparow on November 18, 2006, 04:46:55 PM
Guys,

I think there are two small typos that might be easily corrected on the map: Iwo Jima, instead of Iwa Jima, and Guadalcanal, instead of Guadacanal.

When will this beauty arrives to AvA? I can't wait to fly in it.

Cheers,

Sparow

And does that say "New Caledonia" or "New Caledonin"?  The script is a little hard for me to make out.  (should be the former btw)

And is that supposed to be Fiji instead of Fin Islands?  Perhaps Tonga instead of Tonca?

Or are there alternate spellings I am not aware of (wouldn't surprise me)?

I was using a British map when naming all of the island groups, Dux pointed that out to me as well. I believe he replaced the clipboard map with a US spelling of the isle groups before submitting it to Skuzzy.
