Title: Community Spirit
Post by: VIXEN on November 02, 2006, 11:01:44 PM
The recent changes HT has made to the arena's as well as flying forum & plane changes,modifications as well as the negative follow through inputs promised by them has led me to the following conclusion;

I cannot continue flying under the newest changes. HT has denegreated the flying community spirit both old & new alike, squad & hopefuls to the point that any sort of control & cohesivness is a farse. I laid out of the last campaign hoping i was wrong based on burnout or someother hoperful realistic solution to the woes HT has hexed upon us all for the the suposed benifit of us all, yet their greed & self centered exploitation of us all has surpassed my initial beliefs in a supposed certifiable progressive movement of this game.(yea here come my monkey's)

Sure I could layout some MAJOR points of contention that i have but then again, i wasn't asked about the upcoming changes so why should i point out thir errant ways? To be razzed on this bulletin board?, to raise my own stature? to acctually think HT might listen?(NOT)

No one from HT bothered to send me a letter asking me my thoughts on any contemplated changes, so why should i voice them now? My money$ does my talking for me and my cash says this new setup/map/forum/eny dot command patch crap SUX.

Oh and as for multi-player games go, you've done more to destroy cohesivness than what superglue did in the 70"s. I'll stick to more community spirited games and companies who relish their faithful and take stock in that to grow.

See, if he undid the changes, then he would be centering other woes from solutions hexed upon us all exploitatively supposerdly to surpass and certify progressive beliefs which greed initialization process duck.

I have yet to be relished by HTC, or even catsuped, kethuped, or mustarded.
Now mayonaise and salad dressing are a different story.

I can never understand this line of thought.

The only "online internet game" that I play is Aces High ... so for those of you who play all these other online internet games, do you receive emails from the CEO and/or the lead developer(s) asking you what your thoughts are on any impending changes of that game ? ... I am betting the answer is "No".

"Doubt either one ever played."

Well. I just had to do it - given the sobbing, fare-thee-well swan song posted up above.

He (or she?) is the scourge of inanimate tool sheds and pixelated out-houses -rank was 18 for base taking about two tours ago.

Absolutely "teh sux" in player vs player interaction though.

So one less land grabber/"Teh war winnEH"?  Things looking up IMO!  :aok

nope... I don't see any stats for vixen or mr no name this tour...  I do see a vixen has been on in the past and gets killed 3 times for every time he runs into another fighter... he also get's like on kill per hour.  doubt that I will much miss "fighting" him since.... even with 185 hours a month...  I would never have run into him.

Actually, most online games have some sort of forum.  People can express their delight, or lack thereof, in the game and it's in print on the forum.  They can go back and look at it, or get a paper copy.  Whether it actually has much affect on the game is anybody's guess.  Since online games are always changing, it is plausable that an idea submitted on a forum might be used.

This has a unique attraction for many people.  Similar to the 'antique road show' on Public broadcasting, there is that dream the piece of crap from long ago you held onto might really be valuable.  After all, it's yours!

Regards,

Malta

Actually a few of the other games I play post polls and do ask for input when thinking of implementing changes.

I'm not saying it's good one way or the other but they are out there.

That sounds no different that what I have experienced here ... It's emails that I am questioning and the expectation of receiving them every time the Software company/CEO/Lead Developers decide to change things.

Over the past three weeks or so I have noticed a big increase in  players giving me 6 calls, offering to team up with me and others, and cooperating in general. Which all means that I am having a lot more fun than ever before. Furthermore, I can seek and always find a balanced arena.

All in all, these were big changes that HTC made, and in my experience, they have been very beneficial.

However, in the future, I really do demand a personal email outlining proposed changes and seeking my opinions. Making changes without asking my permission is bad for business. Every corporation knows that.

;)

eh?

Pinged it right on Westy. Vixen is a griefer extrodinater! Often pipes up on country channel whining about the furballer wasting resources.

really got to love this line, I really do find it hard to view providing a sevice that you make the choice to play or not to play, for a whopping $15 a month as exploitation.

Also love the do not listen line, how many changes have we already made do to comments and suggesting from players as to the issues they were having?

And FALCONWING:
Please take a big note of this farewell vs
this one

Note how one really does deserve to be belittled, unless you really believe vixen hasn't busted rule #4 all to hell.

So anyway because of the rule #4, I'm just closing this one.
