My annual thread about the Raiders.
9 sacks given up by the Raiders?!?
Whats up with the Raiders? The Seahawks are missing these starters:
All-Pro Matt Hasselbeck (QB) - Knee injury, out
All-Pro Shaun Alexander (RB) - Foot injury, out
Michael Green (FS / SS) - Foot injury, injured reserve
And the Raiders could STILL not beat us? Wow...just wow....
Great game for us, we got downtown about 1:30pm and avoided all the traffic from 10" of rain over the past 3 days that have caused traffic nightmares. No kids, it was a nice "Parents Night Out". Temperature was about 60 deg during the whole game with lots of rain.

I didn't realize seattle had a football team... What's their name again?
Is it the chokehawks?
:D

The knee to the nuts was funny on the highlights. Funny thing was, Stevens denied it "made it that far". Sapp's comments were typical, useless, and infantile. Raider's were happy when they got Moss. Moss is great, but you need a QB more importantly Raiders.
9 sacks is just atrocious. Hell, I believe in the 1st Quarter a 3 and out was performed by the Raiders with sacks on every down. The "missed snap" was a FUMBLE and not a false start.

What did the Raiders do last year to get them two Monday night games??
-
I had no interest in watching that game.

LOL what a joke. Is it just me or is Art Shell the worst coach ever? He makes David Schula out to be Tom Landry. I mean this guy's team is getting utterly humiliated on MNF, and sack after sack I never saw him get upset once, and hardly say anything at all. Just standing there watching it happen like it's all out of his control. WTF? How did he get that job back anyway?
Oh and did anyone see Al Davis up in the box? That poor guy looks on his deathbed and I'm sure what he has seen this year isn't helping any.
-
Stang, Art Shell is dead. They've stuffed him and stand him on the sidelines during games as a showpiece.
culero

thats not Art Shell its Al Davis wearing an Art Shell suit
-
I mean it's unreal, isn't it?
:huh

I said the EXACT thing to myself as I watched the highlights on ESPNews this AM. 18 sacks in TWO MNF games?!!!! They suck.

It's not Shell. Wel, not completely. It's the offensive coordinator, who likes to call running plays on 3 & 15. Who has no retort for the blitz. Who spent the last ten years as a salesman.
Defense is actually pretty darn good (remember the 2 TD's last week?).
But, Shell hired him because he is his old friend.

Yup 100% correct, Raiders suck BIG time lol, mind you, I'm a 49ers fan, but at least we are trying to win with rookies and a young team, but the raiders? Jeez....
Hey ! When's Haselback and Alexander going to be playing again?
