Title: Scores wonīt match...
Post by: Zuum on November 08, 2006, 03:27:27 AM
I took a look at my scores and Iīm astonished.
Scores for this tour(tour 82) say:  I got 10 sorties totally: 5 kills as fighter pilot, etc.etc...5 sorties etc, etc...

screenshot of stats (http://www.rubricum.com/files/stats.jpg)

Just makes me wonder! I have logged in just twice since end of last month(there is a good reason for that; my computer crashed on 31th of october.).
So, my only loggings into AH this month were yesterday. I made one sortie in a fighter and another in attack-mode. And...alone in that  fighter-sortie I got 7 kills...and landed them, even(got that on film). So, no deaths should appear in statistics. And..where are those 7 kills? I see only 5 on stats.

So...how reliable this "score-system" is? Iīm not really convinced with that...

Scores are updated 10 am CST on a workday.....

Also, if any of those kills were proxy kills, they do NOT show on the stats page, only on the "killstats in expanded format".

Just checked your expanded Killstats. You have 13 kills there, vs 2 deaths:

3 kills in a C205 (no death)
1 kill in a HMk2C (1 death)
1 kill in an IL2 (no death)
7 kills in a LA7 (no death)
1 kill in a SMk5 (1 death)

I assume the 7-kill flight you talk about was the La7. Kill count looks all right on that (two of those were probably proxies, which is why they dont show up in the scores).

From the look of things, you must have made a few more sorties this tour then you thought you had. Tour reset isnt always at 12 pm last day of the month... Skuzzy does it first workday of the new month, somewhere in the am usually. Might have confused things up with the time zone difference....

Is the score system reliable? Well, i think HTCs computers can manage simple calculations from the equations they got. Does it always make sense to a human? nope :).

I hope this helps you.
