Post by: Kermit de frog on November 09, 2006, 12:31:35 AM
Anyone know of any books that will help in making skins for the following:

LUFTWAFFE
(specifically for the Western front)

8TH USAAF
(Bombers and fighters)

or

Websites

Thanks.

well, depends on the unit. the FlyPast book on B-17s has 1-3 skins for all of the B-17 groups that saw combat,as well as a ew details. If you want to make a 303BG skin, the book '303rd Bombardment Group' has a BUNCH of side views of bombers. Again, all depends on what particular squad.

Got any pics of that 109 of the 10./JG1?

1942 Early July.

I've heard of "yellow nose" 109s in late 1943, but was told that they stopped painting the entire nose yellow in early 1942.  Can someone enlighting me?:)
