i JUST HAD TO DELETE AND RE INSTALL AH because of problems I was having....I can't remember what sound pack I was using....In your opinion, what is the best sound pack to use and where can I find it?

I have Mitsu's. And Waffle's on laptop. I like both of them. There might be links at the Custom Sounds & Skins forum, or then they aren't working anymore. Takes a while to find and download one, but checking which one you like doesn't take too long, just a short hop in a plane.

I never met a sound pack I didn't download.  I have Mitsu's, Sketch's, Ranger's and someone else's (probably Waffle's).  They are all unzipped to a separate folder tree and I just pick which sounds I like best.  You'll notice that there are a lot of sounds common between the different packs.

As to the best one, I think my base sound pack is Mitsu's.  It seemed to have the highest number of sounds I liked.  But a bunch of engine and tank gun sounds have been replaced from the other packs.

Sketch's are the best.  More realistic explosions and sounds.   He is "EOD" in the USAF.
