specs are
xion 600w power supply
asus p5b motherboard
pentium 4 3gig processer
i'm pretty sure i have everything connected right. I have the brass mounting screws screwed in so it's not shorting out. I can get power to the motherboard but what i press the power button nothing happens.
the very first time i pressed it it started but went right off.
help please

Give ya the same advice that was given me when I had a similar problem.
if you have a spare PSU laying around give that a try.
If that doesnt at least get the fans spinning.

first switch the 110/220 to one side and then back to original position..
if still wont boot .. take a known good PS and try that.. it boots then its the PS if it don't, its maybe your MB, MEM, or CPU. keep note if any beeps if any the machine may make.

i tried an old PSU and it powered up. damn xion and their faulty power supplys!!! :mad: :mad: :furious :furious

It may be as simple as unplugging the PSU and holding down the start button for 5 to 10 seconds to reset PSU.
I had the same problem with my ANTEC.
