1. I finally got to watch my recording of The History Channel's latest episode of Dogfights--was a great recount of some P38 vs Bf109 and F4 Phantom vs Mig-21 action!
I honestly CAN NOT believe that you goofballs don't support the push for an Aces High-Vietnam! Just watching the Dogfights show makes it obvious that the AH-V combat sim (HTC style) would rock. :D
2. Saw the AHII commercial during the show. Cool.

How would that be more fun then a well modeled Sopwith Camel? :D

perk the Sopwith Camel

o man...lol...well, first of all, WW1 has been done already. VERY, very few people ever flew in the WW1 arena back in the AW days.
and, secondly, there is no strategy in WW1 flying. all you do is loop and loop and loop--maybe turn a few times--then loop and loop and loop again until you can finally get enough of those BB's into your opponent.
trust me--it gets boring pretty fast.
now, set-up a dogfight at all altitudes with jets at break-neck speeds with cannons and missiles that never guaranteed success when fired, and you've got a fun night ahead of ya.
:D

p.s.: i'll see ya on the flight deck at 19:00. storms are rolling in--should make for a fun night of flying into enema territory. :D

I still see mig21s flying in formation over my house every few months.
Would be fun to fly it against u guys:)

That's why I said a well modeled Sopwith Camel. It would be more interesting then what's been done before.

As you know dogfighting was developed in WW1 and hasn't basically changed much. I believe there were some tactics involved too.

:D
So it's the missing and blacking out you're looking forward to?
I'm not against jets, and I think Skyraiders off a carrier would rock. I just would prefer to see what Hitech could do with WW1 aircraft now.
