Title: i wish for old DA

back when their was no killshooter. Green vs green, easier to fight/practice that way. there should be a mod though someone who is in their alot and can control noobs interupting fights, like the TA has. that is all dud out.

Flying 3 mins to get in a fight is just too big for me.I want old DA back too.Furballs were cool.

I hate having the collisions on. In a DA type fight 2 planes are flying very close together at stall speeds. Or when equal pilots fight, they merge and can collide. I watched levi, wldthing and bighorn fight. About 1/3 the time they would hit at the top of the merge. Kinda gets frustrating.

not very skilled if they collide........


arrg thats not a insult..... they'd own me every day but its a bit "gamey" if you can fly through other people isnt it?

How often do you use the DA? And calling those 3 unskilled is just laughable;)

I'll add that in the DA you want to fight to see who can shoot the other down. I can understand collisions in the MAs to stop it being abused. But in the DA you're fighting to shoot the other guy down. I'm not sure how often you duel but if you do it often like I do you'd realize there are times were both of the planes are near stalls and it's kind of a collision you can't help. So a great, whit knuckeled fight was ruined by it. Me and Skychimp just had it happen the other day.

i know its laughable... hence i said they'd own me every day.... but flying into another plane isnt very clever is it?

i use DA more now than i used to because i dont get vulched by friendlys anymore ;)

i personally prefer it the way it is because u annouce what two fields you using, then planes, and fly towards each other... u always start of with the "right" seperation because u have to fly towards each other... I lost count how many times someone thought a dual was to vulch you as you took off in the old DA.

The thing is, i fight people better then me so i can get better. they shoot me down quickly and it is easier to take off from the same base get seperation and then merge then to meet half way, die, fly back etc.

The winner could hang out by my base until he runs out of gas but then we just start over. The way it used to be was much better from a repetative dueling sense. The way it is now is great for challenging someone in the MA to duel, but 1 or 2 or 3 duels and you are sick of flying back and forth to fight.
