Fw190A5 is about 20-25 ENY (can't recall at the moment, noticed this last night).
Fw190F-8 is about the same, whatever it was.
Fw190A-8 is about 35 ENY.
What gives? The A-8 should be 20-25 (whatever the F-8 is) and the A-5 should be the 35 ENY, right?

Noticed similar oddity between the Seafire IIc / Spit IX
Seafire IIc (basic navlised Vc) has a lower ENY than the IX!!!!
Surely should be other way round.

Hrm... good catch..
I don't think all the ENY levels are where they should be. Also, are they different in the different arenas? Isn't the P38G 5 ENY in the EWA? It's about 20 in the LWA's.
I'll add a note that the 190 ENYs were noted in the Late War Arenas. Orange or blue I don't recall (but they should be identical).

La-5 ENY 20
Hurricane IIC (in late war too) ENY 10
WTF?!? Id take the La5 over the hurricane (As far as performance) any day!!!! Hurri should be at 20, id say! ENY is VERY messed up in my oppinion.

Hurr2c was far too low before, but maybe it's a tad too high now. I'd say it should be around 20.

Agree 35 ENY (if memory serves)as it was prior was far too poor for the Hurri IIC. But there is something strange about the IIC having 15 ENY in mid war and 10 in Late. 20 in late would be about right IMO given its great guns but awful speed.
-- Second thought, there may be a method to the madness. Originally the Hurri IIC was not even supposed to be available in LW. It was probably overused in the old MA because it was a great perk farmer and CAP buster precisely because of its gun package and turn ability (admit, guilty as charged myself). The too-low ENY may be HTC's way of trying to discourage its use.

a8 is a terrible turn fighter due to the extra wieght of cannons.... however this makes it a fantastic bomber hunter.... giving you loads of perks.
the A5 is about right being 20 ENY to be fair. and it should be lower ENY compaired to the A8. I think the A8 is a bit on the low side, but thats maybe because more people are using it now its a good perk farmer with that ENY

I kind of see it when talking 190a5 vs 190a8, but what in the world does the 190f8 do better than the a8? I guess if you add 12 rockets or 4 little bombs and take away the option for 4 cannon it means its easier to shoot down enemy planes?

You guys are thinking Late War Arena mode... The Hurri IIC has a 10 ENY because it dominates the Early War Arena.
As to the 190A-5... It'll kick the snot out of the A-8 head to head. Moreover, it's another plane available in the Early War Arena, albeit heavily perked.
I suppose the F-8's ENY is based upon its Jabo ability rather than its meager air to air capability.
My regards,

That's the point. ENY is different for aircraft depending on the arena. In the case of the IIC, it is a 10 ENY plane in EW, 15 in MW, and then back to 10 in LW.
By comparison, the 190A-5 is a 5 ENY in EW, 20 in MW and 25 in LW -- a progression that makes sense vs the IIC setup.
