Hi i realy need help . i've seemed to have lost my VOX . It works offline but as soon as i go online i can't hear myself or others . I've checked everything my end and it's all fine .
It's a real bummer when you want to warn pople as it takes an age to Check Six the right person; even then the check six doesn't tel them where the bandit is coming from .
I was woundering if i had a ban on me or something?
Thanx BYK300132

You should not be able to hear yourself.
Make sure mic is muted in playback options in Windows and boost selected (if available) in record options. If you can record and playback properly in Windows sound recorder, then it should work in game. If still not working, try selecting wav input in game voice setting under options.
-
can you hear others on vox ?
and if so do you have a ping number showing in the main arena's ?
-
i hear myself by using typing my name into the VOX box.
I can't hear others over the Vox .
My mic recoreds fine.
-
What channel do you have the 'V' (voice) control frequency set to in the radio control bar? Should be 101.
-
no matter what chanel i have the VOX on it is blank but only when i'm online . LAN is fine and th eoffline arena.
I had a mesage when i mistyped a word that i would have a radio ban. but i don't know if it happenned , thats why i asked if i was banned from using VOX and room Voice.
-
B3YT,
what do you mean the VOX chan is blank? If it is blank, you do not have any channel tuned and can not transmit on it.
Ill be in the Training Arena the next 15 minutes, if you want to, hop online and well try to sort it.

B3YT,
Schutt asked me if you checked your firewall. He said maybe its not set to allow aceshigh.exe to transfer UDP packages and thats why you get switched to TCP every time you log on. (even if you had AH allowed. youll have to redo that after each update).
-
ahhh doing that now
-
seems it was the Firewall but it seems to be setup right allowing all traffic from AH
-
If you cant get the firewall to allow AH, try if it works with the FW disabled.
-
SORTED .......... no problems now FW is on and all setup . thanks guys.
and can't wait for the new F4u and combat tour. :) :aok
-
Glad it worked out :).
