I have a Question regarding the CH F16 Fighterstick within AH...
It's set up in Speedkeys to use 4/8/6&2 from the Keypad at the moment as When I tried to set it up as "HAT 1 up/lft/rhgt& dwn" ...it didn't recognise it in AH...
Is there a trick ?
I'm asking , because I'd like to map the Hat to Gunner positions an easyway (Within AH, usin a Stick SET Nr2)...

I see your getting lots of help too , lol . I got windows in game controlers( if windows don't see your hat then AH don't I think ) and AH by useing the driver in game controlers "CH Flightstick pro" . It was only a 4 way hat though . You had to show it the hat too , in setup in there .
The one CH told me to use (3 axis , 4 buttons) had no loving hat at all . Four buttons and no hat . If that don't suck ! What with the option of 4 stick sets and only four buttons . (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif) .
Right now I got my combat stick over to my buddies and he's going to try and make the lower four way into a eight way hat . Not that Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy up thereeeeeeeeeeeeeeee one either . (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) .

Windoze see's the 8 way Hat (There are new drivers on the CH site for the fighterstick...)
I have no probs with other Games (Starlancer, Falcon4...) only in AH (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)

OK just checked for Ch Combat stick . Nice they have a driver for it too . But I run it throgh the Pro Throttle , do you too ?
If so did u install this ? Pro Throttle Disk V1.08 (dos)
Or just use the Ch Combat stick driver and speed keys ?
As I bought this all used , no instructions came with it .

Unfortunately I do not have a Pro Throttle, but with my fighterstick , I don't bother with DOS software, Speedkeys does it all (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
PS : The F16 Combatstick drivers work fine in standalone, I know that well, I've had that stick for 3 years (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif). & I know that some poeple use that particular driver with the fighterstick & a Throttle...

If you're mapping your hat to the keys, AH won't recognize the stick function. If you want it mapped to the stick function, you need to map your hat to stick buttons in speedkeys.

Saintaw, I can send ya my setup files for AH, they work. Had the same problem and really don't know how I solved it (but It is solved it seems)

Sorry SAW, I'm more confused than you are over this. I'll have to defer this to HT. I'm just a simple two-button joystick using unfrozen caveman.
