Does anyone know how to dive bomb:noid
I am also looking for recruits for the squad Blitzkreig newbies and senoir fighters recommended
Any questions about joining email me or wait for me to play. i play on fridays-sundays and maybe during the week
-
Interesting choice for a first post. I suggest you establish some form of reputation before you make a squad ;)
-
u may be right. thank u for the advice. how do i make new friends. Anything on Divebombing
-
As far as divebombing, just practice. As to making friends... good question. I forget how my best friend (in the game) and I became friends. Ive been meaning to have him remind me... Start by making a total fool of yourself, and then laughing as though you meant to, and then make a stupid joke. That normally works.

would joining a squad help make friends

yes, that can help, but you gotta put yourself out there.
Like Reynolds said :"Start by making a total fool of yourself, and then laughing as though you meant to, and then make a stupid joke. That normally works"
Use country channel alot, try saying hi when entering an arena (ie: Knights ), ask where help is needed, offer to help capture/defend bases....etc.
there are alot of great folks here, and many will take you up on offers to help the "war effort".
Feel free to look me up when your online. I'd be happy to wing with you(providing I'm not in squad ops). I fly Knight in the EW and MW arenas, and usually Rook in the LW with squaddies.
Just remember that the main point of the game is to have fun.
Welcome to Aces High
ps... = Salute
pps...the Training Arena is a good place for practice without getting shot down. and you can usually find a trainer/senior member in there to help out
-
I have yet to get my name out there and i been flying since FEB...
at least i dont think so...
wut yall think??
but yea jus use country channel alot... welcome to AH:aok

What? That really is how I have made most of my friends! I really do make friends by being stupid!
-
ahh you know what i meen reynolds mate.
Im talking about the odd few people who fob new players off most people are just acting stupid like you say but some think they are like royalty and arent interested in new players wich is just like other mmo`s.
As for a plane for a new player i started in the spit16 (dweeb16) dnt care what people say about it the plane is awsome.
:aok

so basically start with fighters

All fighters are not the same. Spit is probably the most forgiving to learn it. A6M is fun also but slow.
-
Well that depends on what you want to do in the game if you want to boom and zoom take a P-51 or something fast if you want to turnfight take a nice Spitfire any will do except the spit1 coz it only has 303s or maybe a zero or a 109 like lye-el said there all different some take a heck of a lot of practice to get used to and some are more forgiving.
:aok
-
well....i think a good test plane would be the P-40B....it's slow but packs a punch.it was the orignal plane for the "Flying Tigers" if you didnt know that already.

I suggest the Spit IX for a starter. Its not shunned nearly so much as the XVI is, but it is still an incredibly capable plane (And the ONLY spitfire I ever fly) and I suggest the American skin, (forget the number) because the colors are very pretty, much brighter and more... welcoming then the wheathered, battle tested RAF skins. I know, you all think I just dont like RAF skins. Its not that, I just like new, shiney, pastel planes more than wheathered ones, simply because with my graphics wheathering looks like crap.

Reynolds all the spits have nice shiny crome skins now :aok
only the crome skins will do for me even on bombers lol :D
crome,crome,crome
-
<---clubs raynolds across the head for suggesting a newby to fly a spit of any kind we got like 200 of them already:t
-
I'd fly a spit also for starters. Very forgiving, is a turn fighter and E fighter and although it's rarely used in the role, it's an excellent boom and zoomer too. It's just not the fastest bird. But how will you learn anything if you're just running all the time anyways;)

Its not crome. Its similarly colored to the one in your avatar, only with a US star. And goldie, I know we have hundreds, but the IX is a particularly nice plane. Even I fly it from time to time.

No wait scratch my hammer idea we obviously need a GAINT HAMMER.,
Hes probably been holding in his farts to to long so they traveled up his spine to his had and gave him stinky ideas.
-
who says new players can't start squads? It happens all the time. Just keep recruiting and don't listen to jerks.

I dont think ANYONE ever said he cannot. I for one, said he should consider making a name for himself before hand, because it helps recruiting if people actually know who the hell you are. I never said he CANT, I was just making a helpfull suggestion. And goldie, WTF are you talking about?!?
-
lol Reynolds chill buddy goldie is just pulling your leg mate :aok
Virage no-one in this post has said new players CANT recruit i think Reynolds last post hit the nail on the head there. It does help if people know who you are and what your capable of i wouldnt join a newby squad personally unless i was a complete newb myself and didnt know better.
But im not so i wouldnt :noid
