(Finger position on rifle was camera experiment, wanted to see if it show'd the true size of my hand)
(I forgot a few of my items at home, oh the pain when I realized it when I got to the event!)
BTW: I'm loosing weight, but my face isn't showing it..
Quiescence is my dog, I call her Kwai.

Wtf! I though you were black! (Always wondered why a black kid would want to reenact the Eastern Front. Well now I know.)

As for the uniform, I recognise the waffenfarbe for panzegrenadiers? But what are the collar patches? I don't recognise them.

I actually have a few photos where I'm imitating some of his expressions. lol!
First off,
NOT A NAZI, I have no Nazi memorabilia etc. on me.
Unbuttoned pocket is my whistle pocket, contains my dog whistle and guard whistle.
Being on guard in combat requires quick action; a button could spell disaster.
My impression is of a Cossack soldier in Vlasov's POA (Russian Liberation Army).
360th Cossack Grenadier Regt. (Thus the grenadier shoulder boards.)
Pledge Pin?
Almost all of the POA soldiers and most officers hated Communism & Fascism, and wanted nothing to do with it, thus the reason why the Heer breast eagle isn't on my tunic.
You hear stories of Russians being captured on D-Day, surrendering, etc. Those are POA soldiers.
There’s even a story of which an entire squad executes their NCO (A German, forcing them to fight) and subsequently surrenders to the allies, who they had just been shooting at, cheering as they exit with their arms up.
Little did they know, the allies turned them back over to Stalin, who had them immediately executed, or sent to Siberia.

It's in good fun Hawklore, thanks for sharing your hobby. Anybody who might seriously be busting on him should consider their own hobbies a bit first :) It also looks like a good way for you and your buddy to enjoy some time toghether outside of the house.
And, as I noted earlier, nice rifle. What are the specifics.

All in fun guys all in fun!
Didn't have time yesterday to post!!!
The majority of the POA was not SS.
There was however an SS Cossack Cavalry unit.
We portrayed the POA/Cossacks due to the fact we do Red Army Reenacting for Eastern Front events, and we don't have to learn another language!
How about more of a mustache on that old photo!
Cossack's wore beards ya know!

Oh and Nilsen, your relief is short lived, we shall soon merge in photos!
