my frame rate will be 60 and keep gettin screen freezes, then 3 times the game froze up on me, dropped me to my desktop and said it needs to close out cuz its experiencing a problem. just thought i would let yall know.

Bad freezes here too..

P4 - 2.53Ghz
1Gb memory
Nvidia 6800XT - 512meg vid memory

1.0 gb ram

Game stuttering is beyond a joke since the new patch.

Mini freezes ALL the time, especially if in a GV, or manned ack.

[edit] Should mention - prior to the patch the game ran as smooth as a babies bottom.

I also had occasional momentary freezes last night in acks and Ostis. But A44 was extremely busy last night.

I asked my squadmates a question and they said they noticed it too...

FPS take a total dump when low. Spawn on a runway and get 18FPS (I'm not kidding here) with a GeForce 7600 GT video card. I haven't gotten frames this low since the 32MB Ge256 a few years back. You get a few K alt and it pops back to 60 (maxed out on refresh rate for LCD) but it takes a total hit down low.

Something's up with the graphics code. At least around airfields. It didn't do this in 2.08p3.

The F4u's have a white outline at med to far distance , none of the other planes are doing this for me . Up really close they look ok .

And

In the hanger when I select a differant plane the all the planes are outlined in white for a second then they go normal .

I don't have any but the defaut skins and have defraged . I don't as of yet have stutters in game or seen any of the invisable hills yet .

I run 1024 by 768 .

i still have 80+ fps with AA on x2 but like others im getting REALLY bad screen freezes
havent tried GV's but in any plane the game is unplayable since the patch

Strange. I've seen alot of comments from other folks experiencing the same thing. But alot of other peope, me included, see no difference. I just finished about 4 hrs. in MW driving buffs, gv's and fighters and its all just the same as before for me. The only thing I've seen are a bunch of invisible hills,

Saw this yesterday. Seeing how I haven't got to an "F4U" tour yet I'm not concerned. Actually, I like it 'cause you 4U drivers show up real nice against the ocean now.:D

I just downloaded patch 2 a few minutes ago. Don't know what this one addresses as there's no new readme yet.

My setup is similar to betty's except I have an AMD 3500+ CPU.  I had freezes too until I deleted and reinstalled the game.  That may seem a little drastic but it worked.  I didn't notice any problems last night.

nope, im using ATI stuff, 256mb video card
