i was wondering....can i like request a skin?

You can, but that does not mean someone will actually do it.

you can if you find the info and a profile and some photos post at least one on here and ask if some one could possiable skin it for you.
There are a lot of good guys here who useualy try to help if its something that appeals to them or they like the look

ok...this is what i want:
Typhoon: full black body with red,yellow, and blue stripes going down the tail. also replace the the British symbol with a U.S.A.A.F star.
La-7: the body half black, half red. replace the russian star with the USAAF star
F4u-1C/1-A: a wing tips and tip of plane red,tail blue and red, rest Black.
and if possible, add "SKY VIPERS" under the left and right sides under the cockpit.

This will not be done. This section is typically all about MA skins and such, historacle not h2h squad skins that you will NEVER figure out how to use in H2H so that other people can see it.
Edit: btw changing a Russian plane to American is not a good idea.

lol what you want is a lot for what for a skinner would be nothing.
a skin for a main arena is something everyone will see and be admired or slaged off.
the skiner get to show his work with pride and lots of other people will enjoy.
h2h and off line skins really are for you to make yourself.

He's right... you won't be able to use them except offline, and for us skinners there's no motivation to make an unhistorical skin that nobody will ever see except one person.

I've been too busy to work on 1 skin, and have 4 others backlogged. Maybe somebody else can offer to help, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

He still wants me to make em. You can if you load em into the map and make the file size bigger. IF that still works. Ill try.

Rather than start my own thread about similar thing, I'm just going to post here;
I'd like a skin for a P40E in early war Russian colors; pirmarily green and black.
any serial number.

if it wasnt a real war plane you wont get it in the arena its that simple,
you could only use it of line or in h2h

There is no purpose for a non-historical skin to begin with.
razzy colors, and snake's names just make planes seem... childish.
Ask whether some kind of skin can be done before asking that it can be done, simply because that way you will seem more intelegent, and as though you carefully consider things.
Find someone who does the kinds of skins and kinds of aircraft you like, and ask them via PM. When doing this, be prepared to provide FULL details. For example, I wanted an all-metal skin for the 303BG. Kev367th made the skin we have now for 303BG's 17, so I PMed him. I made sure to send him profiles for several all-metals and let him decide which to make. Also, I made myself ready to give him any information so as not to require any more work on his part than absolutely nescecarry.
And finally, take things as they come. The United States military never flew flew typhoons that I know of, and they DEFINATELY never flew La-7s. Red was not a very common color to use in large numbers in western militaries, because red stands out like a sore thumb. The early B-17s were OD (Olive Drab) for a reason: Camoflage. Who ever sees his opponent first has already won half the battle. If you are fond of the United States Army Air Corp. star, and british aircraft, I would suggest the Spitfire mk IX. It has a very lovely american skin.

the original skin was a little lighter then the one on AH...and can someone try to enhance the graphics on the face on the Warhawk/Tomahawk?

Just an aside, Reynolds:
I actually wouldn't mind being able to have full custom skins in the Main SO LONG AS THEY FOLLOW CERTAIN GUIDELINES.
Basically that it would at least have to look like it COULD have been used on a historical aircraft, with attested camoflage colors/patterns and markings appropriate to the country (eg, tricolor for 1943-44 PTO USN/MC aircraft, etc) and still be subject to HTC approval for appropriateness

hmmm, I think if that was done, the base color sceme would have to be realistic, but things like nose art, tail numbers and other details a pilot would add on his own could be an option to cutomize the more minute appearances, so long as the basics were from a real unit.

Yes. I can think of a great example. The 303BG skin is used as the basic skin, but there were hundreds of difirent bombers that flew that basic layout. Each individual could upload their own real nose-art, and other layout, but the base model is the same.
