Those in lines to get it are nuts, but if they can sell em on ebay for 10000 USD ( i belive it went for that today) then maybe they are less nuts than those who choose not to stand in line, but would rather spend that ammount on ebay for it.

I would gladly stay in a line for a day or two for a 10k profit. Sony would have to line up at my door if they want to sell it to me for personal use tho, and they would have to drop the price by atleast 100%.

Greed on both sides. Remember the BS about the Tickle Me Elmo and all the fights at stores over a freaking toy doll???

The robber was simply a predator who could put 2 and 2 together. He knows the PS3's are expensive so it stands to reason people in line to buy it have money. Duh!!!:huh

I've been checking out Ebay on and off since yesterday.  I've seen some bidding up to over $1500 - $2000 for PS3s and one I saw Buy It Now price of $4000.   There's also people selling email addresses with PS3 in the address name.   a search came up with 194 pages of PS3 sales.    People can be so stupid.
