Title: freakin joystick -HELP Please!

Ok my joystick is calibrated in windows,calibrated in the game and it even moves the axis pts under map controllers. looks like it should work,
but when I am in the game it only the plane only takes off from the mouse and keyboard, it ignores the joystick, whats the problem

If you started with the mouse and later added a joystick, you need to go to the "Map Controllers" panel (Options->Controls->Map Controllers) and press the "Default Map" button, making sure your joystick is the selected device.

This will default the game to use the joystick as the preferred input device and do a prelimiinary mapping of the stick inputs.
