Title: An ENY indicator in hanger.
Post by: Flayed1 on November 19, 2006, 03:17:57 PM
It would be nice to see what the current ENY for your country is in the hanger as you are selecting your plane or at least what it was when you entered the hanger..   Maybe just a lil window/box labled current ENY so you don't have to keep going to tower, right clicking and selecting country status all the time.. This would be nice due to the big fluctuations in the ENY at times.

Maybe make the ENY column in the hanger list a shade of red, but leave the model, type, OBJ, and cost unchanged. This could be used to indicate the availability of the plane.

Yes but you need to be in tower to do this. Several times I have checked and by the time I jumped into hanger and picked a plane the ENY had shifted 5 #'s

I'm after something that could updat and would be visible at all times in the hanger while we select our planes.

I think that the problem is that it doesn't know until you try to fly a plane. I could be wrong but I  think that's how a lot of things work. The reason you get the current ENY when clicking Country Status is it queries the server. To keep it updated there would have to be some form of auto updater, we all know what a problem these things can be. If it was displayed in the hanger when you enter, by the time you select a plane it could change.

Would be nice to know that I cant have another P47N before I land it for minor damage, or to move a few sectors---last night, at one point, Rooks had 79, bish had 70, nits had like 40-somethin, and Rooks had eny of 7, though bish still had La7 and K4, the 2 planes I succumb to the most:furious --I'll hot-pad a N with 7 guns, knowing the bish base I'm fighting at has a bunch of La7/K4  guys (later, the rooks numbers went thru the roof, I assume they were getting whooped in other arena)

Fortunately, being a rook, this problem is...rare. I expect it's a rather common issue for bish
