Post by: mipoikel on November 20, 2006, 04:24:04 AM
Just bought 4 tickets to genesis "turn it on again"-tour next summer in Helsinki.

One of my favourite bands in 80's and 90's , I thought I would never see them in live concert. :aok

LOL, yes.  Now...all they have to do is recruit Gabriel and do Supper's Ready and The Knife and I'll be happy.

One of the first concerts I went to, and Peter Gabriel was still leading the band. I had never heard of them before, and was just blown away. They were great. Many years and many concerts later, they were still one of the best I have seen.

When Gabriel left I thought they were done for. Wrong! :D

Kinda risky business buying those tickets that far ahead of the show. All them old folks in Genesis have one foot in the grave and the other in a nursing home.

Hope the stage is weelchair/coffin friendly.  :D

For me the group disbanded in 1975. Too bad I was still sucking milk and going "ba ba" back then.
