One of my favorite campsites, about 40 miles from here, in Mt.Rainier National Park :(

The devastation is incredible...

I think we're on pace for about 5 inches of rain this year.

We had a very "california-isc" October for weather. I kept saying that we'd pay for it in Nov. We did....rather, we are...

Pretty good slide show. Unfortunately that kind of devastation wasn't limited to the Rainier area. Homes and property washed away, new river channels created, mass flooding, roads gone, all over the Pacific NW.
Were pretty used to the wet stuff up here but the past few weeks have been absolutely ridiculous.

What a shame... I was just there in June.. Sunshine Point :cry
Guess they will not let you link their photos.. Any how I drove through Nisqually to Longmire. What a wonderful area. I really wish I had my roadster to enjoy the whole place better then a rental SUV I had..:furious
