 I took a ride with another pilot. Filmed it.when I tried to run film. all I got was the map with dots moveing around. Whats the trick.

Won't work, all the film does is measure your stats and actions in "points". If you "body" is still in the tower it cannot record anything.

Yep, I don't think you can get it to work from an observer's position.  I'll have to talk to HT and see if it's something he can fix easily or not.

 I think this would be the best training tool. You could see the trim tabs,speed, flaps, as the different acm are employed.
