The usual PayPal phishing scam...."So-n-so has been added to your account, to verify this, select the link below:"
Of course the link looks officially like Paypal, and asks for everything from my name to blood type and everything inbetween.
Are people really this stupid for fall for crap like this? I tend to believe that my fellow Americans have at least an ounce of common sense....
Yes, its reported. I bet they get 1 million of these reported a day....

I would think so too, except that every sweeps week my local TV stations interview some idiot who just shipped $1,000 off to some foreign address in response to a phishing email.
The good news is that most of the URLs in the phishing emails that I get have already been disabled. I presume by the authorities or ISPs. I always forward them to the legitimate business' fraud email address.

i get them all the time , i forward them to spoof@paypal

Get em weekly in my spam box
From a banking point of view, you would be amazed how many people fall for those.
-
Your first? Give me your email address and I'll forward one to you every day. While were at it; do you need any v1a gra?

I get them daily .. and are caught in one of the email filters usually
from ebay to paypal to my cc to my bank to all sorts of bs
if anyone needs to get in touch with me thay best call my land line then leave a message as all calls go to vm
there is too much crap in the world to waste time on figuring if it is legit or not ....
and yes, there are enough idiots in the world who bite to make it profitable for some arse wart to continue to send out the crud ... most big spam outfits are millionaires ..
