made a skin fer t3h RV8, but when i try to look at it in the hangar my game CTD!:huh nvr had this happen before does any1 know what could be wrong? when i edited it in Gimp, i got a message about sumthinlike "...can't handle transparencys..." or something like that, but i exported it and it showed up fine in the skin viewer. But when i select the RV8 now and it CTD. :cry :cry

Is this your first skin?

no, i;ve made 'bout 5-6 other skins, before (None are historically accurate, just for fun) and i nvr had this problem, this IS however the first skin i've made in quite some time, perhaps i haev forgot to do something i should have? :cry

Well, one of two things comes to mind:
1) There was a mistake/omission in the export
2) The RV8 just doesn't accept skins.
You've got a layered RGB file. Flatten the layers, change it to indexed 256 color (aka 8-bit) and save it as a bitmap.
or
Take the bmp you already exported for the RV8 and put it onto a p51 or something. It'll look like garbled crap, but if it shows up as garbled crap you know the bitmap *itself* is fine. If it crashes then you know it's the bitmap. If not then you know it's the RV8.
