I've noticed that whenever there's a post that some feel will get deleted, a lot of people post replies with IN in them. What does IN mean?
-
In before the thread is thought to be locked in the future.

Its just IN case
-
cell phones are IN , tie dyed shirts are out.
-
INconceivable !

IN is a sort of betting pool i think.
by using the word you are declaring, with confidence, that the thread will be locked due to it's posters comments or intention.
it shouldn't be used lightly however as those who say IN within the bounds of a thread are required to hang their heads in shame as they are in obvious violators of rule #6 should such lock not actually occur.

Also, in what is arguably the greatest movie ever made, Dazed And Confused, Jodi, while picking out new fish recruits, asks Sabrina if she's "In or out?".

**** this concludes the test of the emergency IN system. should this have been an actual lockable thread, you would have heard 3 INs followed by an pwn by skuzzy. this was only a test. we now return you to your regularly scheduled o'club programming ******
