The GOD of all music

http://www.zappa.com/splash.html (http://www.zappa.com/splash.html)
known for those hits like; Peaches en Regallia, Titties and Beer, Cosmik Debris, Wet T-Shirt Nite, and Billy the Mountain (a 23 minuet song about a mountain avoiding the draft and such)
Great artist, but his songs were so out there he didnt get the recognition he deserves.  Hopefully someone else knows of him.   :D

Mr. Scruff's "Fish" (Keep it unreal).
Books on tape - "The truth, the whole truth, and an assortment of lies" (Business end EP).

Both go very well with Eagl's pajama dance.

TAKE YOUR CLOTHES  OFF WHEN YOU DANCE

There will come a time when everybody
Who is lonely will be free . . .
TO SING & DANCE & LOVE
There will come a time when every evil
That we know will be an evil . . .
THAT WE CAN RISE ABOVE

Who cares if hair is long or short
Or sprayed or partly grayed . . .
WE KNOW THAT HAIR AIN'T WHERE IT'S AT

(there will come a time when you won't even be ashamed if you
are fat!)

WAH WAH-WAH WAH

La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la (a-a-ah!)
La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la (oo-wee-ooh!)

Diddle-diddle-dee
(Diddle-diddle-dee)
Diddle-diddle-dee
(Diddle-diddle-dee)
Diddle-diddle-dee
(Diddle-diddle-dee)
Diddle-diddle-dee
(Diddle-diddle-dee)

La la la la la la la la la la la la
La la la la la
WAH WAH-WAH WAH

There will come a time when everybody
Who is lonely will be free . . .
TO SING & DANCE & LOVE (dance and love)

There will come a time when every evil
That we know will be an evil . . .
THAT WE CAN RISE ABOVE (rise above)

Who cares if you're so poor you can't afford
To buy a pair of Mod A Go-Go stretch-elastic pants . . .
THERE WILL COME A TIME WHEN YOU CAN EVEN
TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OFF WHEN YOU DANCE

Nope. Never heard of him ;)

I decided several years ago that music is more about emotion than pure attitude.  I used to really dig the hard stuff but for some reason it seems to lack any real substance to me now.  If any of you understand this I highly recommend Ray LaMontange.  This guy could be as important to this era as Dylan was to the sixties.

My favorite band that is still together is Radiohead and if you like to hear new, different sounds I suggest picking up any one of their albums, although if you're more into guitar-based pop-oriented music their first three:Pablo Honey; The Bends; OK Computer would be better suited to you.  Their later releases: Kid A; Amnisiac; Hail to The Thief, are more abstract and really take different kind music fan (than the average Joe who likes to tap his foot to Skynard) to truly enjoy.

If you're into hearing new music you should check out Pandora (http://www.pandora.com/).  I truly believe that this format is the future of music and proves that their is so much more out there than what commercial radio (or subscription radio for that matter) spoon feeds you every day.
