Don't buy anything NEW that has AGP on it, unless it's got both AGP *and* PCIe.

You will kick yourself when you have to buy a new one in 6 months to hold the new vid card you need, and then new RAM because your old RAM is obsolete... It's holding you back.

Krusty read with understanding please!

He said IF you like to keep your memory and AGP card.
In this case its really good solution and save 400$ in your pocket for some time.
Buying mobo with agp and pcie can be solution but hell , mobo cost 40$ and if you like to move to pcie this duality will hold your PC performance back.

So better to keep Core 2 and when its time just buy new mobo and pci-e video card, when you can afford it. And trow away old mobo or sell it for 20$ cuz its garbage anyway.

Some of us don't need the new technology every week. ;) I built this computer a year ago and expect it to last three more without any major upgrades. It's mostly for AH anyway.
