how about... ENY effects troops... so if one country has too many players, they have to pay perks for M3 or C47. The higher the number, the more the M3 / C-47 costs?
would help limit the land grab vs undefended countries brigade
alternatively, you could do it so that the higher the numbers on your country, the less troops your m3/goon carries. So it will require more sorties to take a base.
-
This would be in addition to the current eny set up ?
If so then yes . More troops needed to take map room or less troops carried in transports.
Ohh and whats with the constructive post. :furious
Quit screwing up the perceived BK image dang it.
:D

you're right

If you want to win, then organize ones forces.
When I enter an arena and one of the other countries is winning I look upon it as a challenge to interdict their efforts.
Frankly, this game is becoming less fun for me. If it were not for my squadron mates in the Skyknights and the comoraderie we share, I would have quit with the multiple MA concept.

Thats an excellent idea...maybee even customized so it takes more troops to take a low numbers country field to make it harder to attack the little guy on the block.
so if
the Az have 40
the bz have 40
and the cz have 5
it takes troops to take a Cz base
but a normal number of troops to take a Az or Bz base:)

Nonsense. Any effort to level the playing field defeats the idea of a military action/game. Be successful and your enemy, with dwindling numbers, becomes tougher?

I dont like it, no one shouldnt have to pay for troops no matter how offset the arena is

I believe the problem is that they are successful BECAUSE they are attacking the team with very few players.
So BECAUSE this is a game they are encouraged to attack the team with a more equal number of players.
Attacking undefended or sparsley defended bases does not in any way make you a military genius or even a moderately skilled lil' general.
Attacking undefended or sparsley defended bases does in fact make you a DWEEB.
God forbid we actually end up with some kind of air combat in here!

Forgive stupid Excel-looking logic:
Troops required = 10 + iif((Friendly ENY-Enemy ENY)<0,0,(Friendly ENY-Enemy ENY))
Thus:
Az ENY = 0
Bz ENY = 5
Cz Eny = 20
Az requires only 10 troops to take any base.
Bz requires 10 troops to take Cz base, 15 troops to take Az base.
Cz requires 30 troops to take Az base, 25 to take Bz base.
Not sure I like the idea (punishes large side twice), but something like that could accomplish what you are asking.

Ball, you are a genius.
Aren't you the brains behind the BK's?
If not, then I vote you for MW arena president.

i think that is an idea that can only affect the game in a possitive way.
i like the 'decrease troops carried' idea a little more but either of them would be a huge improvement.
top marks to furball. :aok

The only complaints would come from the bus drivers union. Fighters could still fight...bombers still bomb...tanks still hide in the trees. :)
-
Good idea. And if there arent enough bus drivers, then it would force one of the fighters/bombers/gvers to "roll-up their sleeves" and become a bus driver for an hour... shouldnt be that big of an impact anyway, given they already have a larger number of users.
I like.

I am the only brains in the BK's. I bring the brains, jaxxo brings the alcohol and lazs brings the guns.

It's somewhat ironic that our brains guy can't drink and walk at the same time without hurting himself. It also explains a lot of things.
