Lots of rv8 builder sights out there. 1 problem with using the rotary is resale value.

Reread the readme for version 2.09 :)

Smartaleck aside: .showrv while in Hangar, then make the list refresh by going to Tower and back in Hangar. Voila!

The 20B is not exactly a common powerplant in the states, and is only going to get more scarce. Kind of a bummer everytime you break something having to spec order it from Japan.

Hey Hitech, Ghosth and I were playing with the RV8 in the TA the other day. I nursed it up to 17,000 feet and split-s'd into a dive...

Saw 487 mph before having to pull out. The thing must be built from unobtainium..... Film is available...

(EDIT) Here's the RV8 film. (http://home.att.net/~c.c.jordan/RV8.ahf) You will see 486 mph on the film, but I saw 487 on E6B, not that it really matters.

My regards,

Widewing

Exceeding the VNE means "going plaid".

What is VNE in that thing, anyway? Surely it's not really 487?

I've read 222 to 230 mph IAS for the RV-8...
