Title: what's goin'wrong?!?!

i'm using 1,4Ghz Athlon 512mb DDRram atiradeon64mb and when it was running under win98,were 80-90fps now i'm using win2000 and the fps are 40-60??!!why? see ya on line  :confused:

Probably because your monitor refresh rate is only at 60 Hz.  Did you also remember to load the VIA 4 in 1 drivers (if your motherboard uses a VIA chipset)?!?  This is VERY important if you didn't.  They are at www.viahardware.com (http://www.viahardware.com)  .  Forgetting to install the AGP driver will 1/2 your framerate.

Look at a recent article about drivers at www.tomshardware.com (http://www.tomshardware.com)  to see just what I mean.
