Title: Emergency !!!!!!!!

I cannot get into any areana's nor can I get into the offline practice.  Here's what is happening;

I click on a program called fsautostart. (it is designed to shut down unwanted programs to optimize memory for flight sims)

then the clipboard comes up, click on online areanas, enter name and password.

The choice of areanas comes up and i choose any of the areanas and watch as the precache loads, terrain loads, etc, etc

now is when it goes black and then the windowsxp exclamation that aceshigh.exe has caused a problem and should i send a report to microsoft

I close back to desktop and get fustrated when I try again and it fails.

does it launch ok without FSAuto start?  If it does your shutting off something AH wants would be my guess.

I use FSAuto start too ... works good

something else that might help,  I had just changed some of the graphic detail info.  I think I x-out disable other plane skins and optimize terrain maybe, and when I hit ok the discoing began  now can't get back in to change them back

Yep, thats probably the cause noTch. To change it back, delete the video8.cfg file in your game install/Settings. Then relaunch the game - it will recreate the file automatically with default settings.

On LOGIN screen, go to VIDEO SETTINGS - my guess is that the "optimize terrain/objects" are greyed out there. If they are, your rig isnt able to process the optimization stuff. Problem is: in game in GRAPHIC SETTINGS the boxes can be checked, with the above result of insta CTD.
