Cowboys beat NYG 23 to 20. That kicker for the cowboys is sure loved by the Almighty. He prayed like 10 times before he kicked that ball, and when he kicked it, God gave him a beautiful calm wind, and his field goal kick when striaght in and looked like it could go for another 50yards. WTG COWBOYS!!

Super Bowl: Cowboys 23 Patriots 21
You heard it here first! (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/peter_king/05/28/mmqb/1.html) (Sports Illustrated's Peter King May 29, 2006)
I'm starting to believe :)

Go Bears!
Our QB had a QB rating of 1.6 for sundays game. That is more like a blood alcohol test then a NFL QB rating.
Stupid Bears
-
:D
-
First Rutgers loses in triple OT, now we lose to the cowgirls. weekend shot.
btw when is one of TO's teammates going to call him out for droppin one ball after another
-
Cowboys earned the enmity of fans of every other NFL team when somehow they were dubbed (I can barely type this ... cough ... gag) "America's team"
Musta been the star on the helmet.
Admittedly, living in Redskins territory, no matter what or where the game when Washington is not involved (which is most the time this past decade), we are obliged to root for any team EXCEPT Dallas.

Good for Grammatica, he was a great guy for the Bucs, felt bad for him when his accuracy left him

Grossman has been TERRIBLE lately...I have to disagree with lovey smith's post game comments saying that Grossman has led them to 10-2. Sure Grossman has had some great games, but the D are the true game winners. If I were coaching the bears I would seriously entertain the though of griesey. You have Berrian, Muhammad, Bradley and Jones...All Proven talent...Just need a QB now and the Bears will be unstoppable! 85 bears!

I haven't seen a game Romo has played in. If they keep winning, I may never watch one again this season!

LOL How about my Vikings
21 first downs to Chicagos 6
348 total yards to Chicagos 107
77 plays to Chicagos 45
195 yards rushing to Chicagos 83
156 yards passing to Chicagos 24
and Time of Possession 39:21 to Chicagos 20:39
And LOOSE the game
Didnt seem like a game of which QB wanted to win more but more like which one wanted to win less
Childress finally throws deep a couple times and the receivers drop the flipping ball.
Told ya
Mediocre Team.
Trying to run a system without all the proper players for that system
I say Pull Johnson for the year and play the rookie QB for the rest of the year to get him some real game experience
It can only help him. And whats the worst that can happen?
We get a higher draft pick?

Yea but Rutgers was also robbed of a TD by a bad fumble call.
In any event Least they took it to triple OT against a pretty damn good team.
they are without a doubt a program on the rise provided we can keep the head coach.
Brian Lenard is going to make a very fine addition to some lucky NFL team next year
As for the Cowboys.
While I hate the Cowboys. Right now I hate the Giants more LMAO

You know why he was praying?
He was afraid to miss.
Not just because the game was on.
But because he was afraid of Parcells
We all know how much Parcells just LOVES kickers LMAO

Those stats don't show turnovers, but they look like Minnesota coughed up the ball in their own territory.
-
Scoring Summary MIN - CHI
1st Quarter
NONE 0 - 0
2nd Quarter
12:20 CHI TD Chris Kluwe punt. Devin Hester returned punt for 45 yards (Robbie Gould made PAT) 0 - 7
8:54 MIN FG Ryan Longwell kicked a 23-yard field goal 3 - 7
3rd Quarter
10:07 MIN FG Ryan Longwell kicked a 30-yard field goal 6 - 7
4:33 CHI TD Ricky Manning Jr. intercepted Brad Johnson for 54 yards (Robbie Gould made PAT) 6 - 14
3:04 CHI TD Cedric Benson rushed to the right for 24 yard gain (Robbie Gould made PAT) 6 - 21
4th Quarter
13:59 CHI SY Ciatrick Fason rushed to the left for 2 yard loss. Safety 6 - 23
5:40 MIN TD Ciatrick Fason rushed to the right for 4 yard gain (Ryan Longwell made PAT) 13 - 23
Turnovers were even, 5 for each team.
You'd think with 348 total yards it'd = 4 TD's. 13 points? WTF????
-
3 and out in the red zone?
-
I'd chaulk it up to what Chicago does best: scores points with offense, defense and special teams.

Really? and where were those offencive points?
LOL I wouldnt go ordering those superbowl tickets just yet
not the way Grossman has been playing the last several weeks
-
I didn't say they are an offensive powerhouse, their offense did put points on the board. Which makes it even more pathetic that Minnesota lost.

After seeing him miss his first kick in the first quarter, I would think Parcells wouldn't let him touch the ball again....
:)
-
Romo is the real deal. That throw to Witten, on the run, was a rocket, and right on target. Dallas has lost (how many) this year when they coughed it up or mane a bonehead play late in the 4th quarter? It was nice to see them get over the hump and win a close one.
Kudos to the Giants coach, who benches a 6'4" 260 pound FB inside the 5 yard line, and runs him on a sweep on a 4th and 2. I've said it before, Eli is way over-rated

Nice kick, but we still have the NFL's best kicker. :p
Josh Brown tied an NFL single-season record with his fourth winning field goal in the final minute, nailing a 50-yarder with four seconds left to give the Seattle Seahawks a 23-20 win over the stumbling Denver Broncos on Sunday night.
-
50 yards is nice, but a 60 yarder by the Titans' Rob Bironas to beat the Colts wins out. :D

That is BSU...wait...wrong thread!
Go Cowboys!!!

My heart was beating around 180bpm. That Dallas game was what every Cowboy Fan needed. For years, we've not had a QB, but now, I think we've found one. Now, we can march on into the Super Bowl once again.
<------Cowboy fan since 1990.
Super Bowl Score: Cowboys 28, Chargers 21

I'm thinking Parcells has reason to stay around a few more years with this young team. New Orleans is their last big challenge, and if Vick shows up to play the falcons could give them fits, too.

I watched a bit of New Orleans v San Francisco. z0mG, the Saints looked GOOD!:huh
-
SF makes most teams look good. :)
The Cowboys game was one of the best I have seen in a long while. Both teams played evenly and it could have gone either way. Manning had a heckuva day. Romo had his worst outing.
One of the few games where no one lost, someone just won.
Heck, even butter-fingers TO could not lose it for the Cowboys.

uh.........
go hawks :aok

I'm from the N.O. area and I've been a Saints fan since a wee lil' babe. This is a miracle year for us. My wife and I are having a great time watching the games this year. Next Sunday night should be a great game.

Cowboys are looking seriously good. Looking forward to seeing them play in their new stadium. Always hated Texas Stadium. Enjoyed more than a few games when they were playing at the Cotton Bowl though.

your defence wasnt all that spectatular either.
Yea you had the picks. But for the most part, the same way Grossman was throwing the picks
It isnt great defence when the QB throws you the ball LOL
that made it more pathetic then the Bears scoring on offence....once
The Vikings right now are a mediocre team.
But even with the iterceptions. were it not for some (8 but who is counting) pathetically dropped passes. That vaunted Bears defence would have been largely exposed.
In alot of ways it was.
You went up against a mediocre team of whom the ONLY thing they have going for them is a running game.
Really all they had to do was stop the run
and gave up nearly 200 yards on the ground.
The Bears didnt beat that Viking team on Sunday.
the Vikings beat the Vikings on Sunday

Cowboys looked like crap last night against the Saints.
Seahawks lose to a lowly Cardinal team, falling short 1 foot :(
-
HOW 'BOUT DEM COWBOYS!
The fall of the Romo Empire...
WHO DAT! :)
-
shut it makarov9
and what does that even mean who dat
as far as i am concerned the romo empire still stands tall
just a little shorter than before
Cowboys fan since birth
-
All bloody week in the press..."Dallas is the greatest team EVAR!", "Romo is the greatest QB EVAR!".
WHO DAT!

Cowboys looked bad last night, plain and simple. Romo is wet behind the ears as a starter but I look for them to be viable playoff material if not this year then next.
-
Hey, they didn't use Cowboys as homo's in Brokeback Mountain for nothing.

Goat herders don't technically qualify to be called cowboys. Goats are notorious for butting people when they aren't looking so maybe those brokeback boys should be called b***boys? ;)

Yup, because you HAVE to see a movie to know anything about it.
But I guess you liked it well enough to post a response to my reference to it.

Damn Diablo you gotta stop leaving yourself open like that bud. Plus if your suggesting that cowboys are gay, you may want to remove the cowbow from your avatar and DiaBLOTX from your handle.;)
Although the pokes did surely BLO last night.

And that ain't a cowboy in the avatar. Any Texan worth his or her salt knows a Texas Ranger when they see one. :D
In all honesty, I thought the Romo story was one of the better ones this season in the NFL. It's just a shame he has to play for a team that has some of the most annoying fans.
Shifty..hmmm...does that mean you're a "switch hitter"?

maybe i am annoying but don't let that tell you that all cowboys fans are annoying
other teams are just sad that they dont have a romo
and we are sad that our T.O. wasnt quite as good as we thought he was ganna be

No, ONE person does not make an annoying set of fans. Try growing up in Houston and seeing nothing but the silver star in the 70s and right up through now.
I congratulate the 'boys on their past successes, I just wish their fan base had a little more humility.
-
meh
i say we stop this and just join together to hate the eagles

Lookin' much better tonight. :aok

The Cowboys looked good, but TO is a classless, whining, pathetic waste of space. I was raised a Cowboy fan, but the minute they hired him they lost me. He's a psycho loser that has no business being on a football field. Hopefully the NFL nails him for his actions.
