Title: Error message

When I try to start the game (from desktop) I get an error message I've never had before:  

Initialization failed with -9
mainWLD_FAILED -1

...never seen anything like this before, so I have no idea how to remedy it.   :(

Any ideas?

oops! forgot...

some of my cpu specs, if needed:
P2/400
128meg
Voodoo3 3000
DirectX 8

That meens stdshape.res is missing or is the wrong version could also be starting in the wrong folder.
Might need to reinstall full version.

if it's the wrong version, is there someplace I can update it?

Also, it's kinda odd that I get this error now when I just played a few days ago (with no problems) and no real changes have taken place on my system since then.

Just sayin' (tm)
