Title: Cant send messages to all in arena

When trying to send messages and so on to everyone then the stuff i write doesnt show up. im not sure i get the messages on channel one either.

Bug, intenional bug or some wrong setting on my end?

What is channel 1, in the radio control bar, set to?  If it is set to "All", it ain't gonna work.  The "All" channel is disabled in the arenas.

ah ok... yes it was "all"

But how come i can see some messages sent around on it? They are in white/gray.

What are your other channels set to?  The rest of the radio channels dictate what you will recieve.  Your broadcast channel is whatever number 1 is set to.

Well i am talking about sending text messages to channel one. I can see some but not send.

Number one is set to 1(all). Its that one that i cant send text on.

Nilsen tune a channel to 200.

that's become the "all channel".  The normal "all" is off by default in the MA.

Nilsen, All channel is disabled in the MAs, except for Salutes. They are still sent automatically (.s ) on chan1 and thus can be read by all online.

Common channel for cross-country communication is channel 200 text (which displays also as grey BTW, but has a "200" in front). You can only read that channel when you actually have it tuned in one of your radios.


For a while, in the EWA/MWA All channel was enabled again, so some of the noobs might have talked on it. Im not sure if it got disabled again (but i hope so).



White text is private messages. Only the sender and receiver can see it. It can be used by tuning a text channel to someones gameID.
Private text (white) is also used to send the automated check6 call and collision messages.

Unless it changed very recently '1 All' was enabled in EW and MW arenas.

Edit- Just confirmed, '1 All' channel is enabled in EW and MW and disabled in LW arenas.
