I am getting a 94 to 125 ping on all arenas. Jumps up and down within that range. Im on DSL (Embarq NC). My last test was 2 meg down about 500 up.
It seems I used to ping in the 60's when I was on cable (Charter NC) with no big jumps. Is this 95 to 125.. good, fair, bad?? I had 2 discos (UDP/TCP) couple nights ago. About 5 minutes in I would disco. 2 attempts 2 discos. Have not flown since so i dont know if it was just a bad "internet" night or not.
Adaware clean, fsautostart, AVG stopped. No firewall on, No router, Auto update off... I think that covers it.

Unfortunately, your ISP appears to be using Sprint as thier Tier 1 carrier. Sprint is getting worse. Since they launched thier new wireless service, they have been slowly pulling data bandwidth from the general Internet towards thier own service.
Add to the fact they already decrease thier data bandwidth in favor of thier long distance voice service, and stuff happens. Stuff, being more erratic data flow, more lost packets and general network mayhem.

Monitor should always indicate your actual monitor, it should not say plug and play or default monitor.

If it dont get better I will go back to cable. If the discos stop I can live with it.
I just put this monitor on the PC. I was sure I set it up. Either I did not or somthing got dumped.
Thanks for the info.

I flew tonight and I did not have a disco issue at all. Everthing ran smooth. Aside from my vodeo, but thats doing about as good as it can (PCI). All is well so far.
