why cant i view my skins offline?

Well, have you set up the directory with the proper name and in the proper place?

What plane is the skin for? (spit8? p51d?)

i just downloaded the files into ah skinds folder and unzipped

Well make sure the directory name is "p51d_1" through "p51D_15" and you should be good to go. If you don't have an object text file, it will show up as "p51d_1" in the drop box in the hangar. If it does have an object text file, it will list as the name of the plane, so open the "p51d.txt" file up and see what it's named, then look for that name in the hangar when offline.

Actually, Ive noticed the same thing. I made several skins, and was able to fly around in them quite happily. But since the new patch, I havent been able to! Any idea as to whats happened?

There was a naming convention change in the skins. You USED to just take the plane name and put a number after it "P51D1" through "P51D15" 1 through 15 because you only get 15 slots per plane. They changed it because of concflicts with spits 1 and 14 (spit14 and spit1,4 -- see?), so now it SHOULD be "P51D_1" through "P51D_15". Try the underscore now and it *should* work.

Ok Krusty, found it! It was my Black Hurri skin, Turns out it overwrote 131Blue's skin in Offline mode for some reason. I dont know why, but at least I know where it is!

C:\Program Files\HTC\Aces High II\skins
and all i c are the files skin70 for example what do i do now?
