Title: Sound issues with the last 2 patches

Anyway of stoping the sound from cutting in & out... it all most sounds like someone keeps clicking and holding the mic..

any ideas as this is driving me crazy

i had this also, i thought it was my mixing desk (i run headphones out of the mixing desk which takes the PC output) going funny on me.


seems like someone either turns the volume up 5 notches, or turns it right down.


happens about once every 30 mins.

If all your sounds are cutting in and out, then it sounds like the sound chip/board is being interrupted by another service/application wanting to use the sound card/chip.

Skuzzy,

When I say cutting in and out, it's more like batfink is saying i.e. from very loud to very soft  like I sait it almost sounds like someone pushing the mic button and holding it.....

this only started with the last 2 patches
