Title: crazy flicker

hi i have a serius problem, the screen is flickering like crazy and  the fixes proposed on the web page dont work.
i have a athlon 1333 with a geforce 3.
i have tried restricting the framerate, with little result, and i also downloaded the newest detonator drivers.. but no .. it still flickers like crazy, what do i do ?

i had the same problem when i upgradded to geforce 3 from geforce 2. i had to reinstall windows.

Are you running Win2K?

If so you will need the nvreffix.

Have you turned off the little computers in your systray?  By having these showing your net connection they will sometimes cause a flicker with nVidia cards.
Just another thing to try  :)

Sounds similar to a problem Zeb (my husband <g> ) had recently.  Updated Windows to Win2000 which appeared to cure it.  He has since upgraded to WindowsXP and that too is OK.   :)

Good Luck - it nearly drove him - and me! - crazy!    :eek:
