Title: 348th Fighter Group

New squadron has just formed, the 348th Fighter Group.  We plan on flying realistic missions with a focus on teamwork, wingman tactics, and the planes of the historic 348th FG, the P-47 and P-51.  The 348th Fighter Group was the first P-47D squadron in the Pacific and served with distinction throughout New Guinea, the Phillipines, and over Japan.  If you're familiar with the game, have a headset, and are interested in a squadron that flies mostly fighter sorties in Jugs and Ponies, look us up.  You won't be limited to that plane set, obviously, but expect it for squadron ops, and during FSO, you can count on us looking to use the Jug or Pony if available.  We'll help train you if you need or want, but are looking for those candidates that will be worth our time and effort.  You'll find us primarily flying for the Bish, typically in the mid or late war arenas.

the other night. Fun fun fight and definately the beginnings of some good teamwork. Obviously getting folks up to speed in the Jug is challenging but it sure looked like you've got em off to a good start....<>
