Title: Warbird BluePrints...
Post by: FighterPuke on December 11, 2006, 08:08:25 AM
Does anyone know of sources for detailed and complete blueprints of WW2 aircraft....in particular the historical greats. IE P-51D, P-38s,Spitfire 16, and etc? When I say complete.....I mean with the proper tools you could in theory build said aircraft. I've done some research and have only turned up 1 or 2 documents. I would hope they would be in the historical records somewhere....

Thanks,
Ryan

the archives at the smithsonian and also at wright-patterson airforce base would probably be your best place to begin searching.
