Post by: eskimo2 on December 11, 2006, 08:11:42 PM: LOL, I didn't even notice the boxes. That was my spray painting booth. I killed many brain cells in that room. It was too cold to open windows so I just breathed it all in. That's really just half of the room; it was kind of U shaped. I had 70 airplanes hanging from the ceiling.

Once in the summer I opened the window to let the smoke out of the room. My friend and I were throwing firecrackers at the planes; trying to take them down with direct flack hits. One landed on the nearly horizontal open window and actually blew out a chunk of the single pane glass. The tape was my repair.

Post by: Ripsnort on December 12, 2006, 04:34:14 PM: Nice room Eskimo. Our rooms were very similar. My dad got me hooked on aviation since I could walk. I can't remember a time in my life where I wasn't building a model plane, firing off estes rockets, etc. (Even today with my own kids! :) )

I spent most of my time outside in the summer time though... 160 acres worth of "room" ;)

Cool tractor! I would have killed a bunch of things and eventually myself at the controls of one of those. (I sure wouldn’t let a girl get ahead of me though) :)

WW1, WW2, Korea and the modern jets of the time like the F100, F102. Unfortunately my beeotch of a little sister got in one day and cut all the strings then wrecked the models. Nope, still haven't forgiven her for that yet.
