Did most mid and late Fw 190s came with built-in centerline bomb rack? I heard that most mid and late 190A (including the F model) came with a centerline bombrack to correct the CG balance and shift the weight of the plane forward
-
I don't know if they *came* with them, but they flew with them even when they didn't have anything hanging off them. These would be A8s and A9s, I believe. [edit: Probably F8s as well, they were A8s in most ways]
It could have been a fix called out by the manufacturer, or it could have been something that pilots figured out in the field, and it became widespread as a custom fix. I'm not sure on the specifics.

Sounds like a myth to me.

i think it was standard from the 190a8 since it countered the wieght of the MW50 tank mounted in the back of the plane and solved the CoG problem
-
Apart from a few test aircraft the 190A series didn't have MW50.

The aux. tank was dual purpose, either C3 fuel or MW50, but in the A it was used for fuel.

I find it strange that such a poorly performing flying coffin was further hampered by such device... :p

Maybe that is a misunderstanding. When the engine was moved forward the rack mountings had to be moved the first time and when the aux tank was fitted the rack had to be moved again. The rack is rather light and its effect on COG is minimal unless there is something attached to it.
The rack was probably not a problem since it could be jettisoned in flight, IIRC, that is...

The cl rack was easily removable but was not jettisonable
