Following on from the F-117A -
T-38C Talon, complete with -
Pilots that 'look' around
"Remove Before Flight Tags" that gently sway in the breeze.
Animated canopies, airbrakes.
Afterburner effect.
About 90% complete, just the LODs to do -

Nice!
-
Let me know if you need a beta tester...
-
There are very few T-38 travel pods in the inventory. Most bases had a handful of them at best.
I think you ought to take them off. The Talon looks much better without a pod on.
Also, they're primarily ATC birds; the vast majority of them are white.
Otherwise, looks pretty nice. Well done.

Looks really good.
Could you make an F-5 from that?

Not a travel pod, it's the practice gun pod.
A lot of the T-38C's are in the two tone "Shamu" scheme, some at moody are in a two tone IFF scheme. (rip off from the Falcons).
Pics I've seen show them in the this scheme at at least -
Moody, Sheppard, Laughlin, Columbus and Vance.
Will come in 7 different versions -
T-38A - single and dual crew
T-38B - Single crew and dual crew
AT-38B - dual crew with practice gun pod
T-38C - single crew, dual crew with baggage pod
Just has gun pod on the the moment as its easier to do LODs then remove for other versions.
Bye Bye - Yes can make an F-5B and F-5B (G) from it.

nice work

Most (all?) AETC T-38s were converted to a new gray/gray camo paint job starting about 8 years ago. There should be very few white T-38s left.
-
The dozen or so T-38's here at Ellington flown by NASA are all white with blue trim. After 25+ years I'm kinda tired of seeing them.
Funny thing though, I've seen quite a few F-4's over the last couple of months. THOSE I never got tired of seeing in the air.

Reminds me of the old Braniff story/myth, take your pick. From 1971 to 1979 they ran their only 747 (painted orange and the 100th 747 off the Boeing assembly line) back and forth on the same route - DFW to Hawaii. The thing was supposedly in the air 16 hours a day and seen so often that a controller in DFW asked if all Braniff 747s were painted orange.
The answer was "yes." ;)

Shows how long it's been since I visited an A(E?)TC training base!
Guess they're not afraid of the studs running into each other out in the areas any more. ;)
My mistake... I'll wrap up in my graybeard and settle back down in the rocking chair.

Yep. In fact if you look at Ellington Field in Google Earth you'll see it on the tarmac.
