Title: map creativity....
Post by: Laurie on December 18, 2006, 08:24:39 AM
this is a question directed towards HTC really but it would be cool to see what others think.

i think maps would be greatley enhanced in their divesity, fun factor and creativity if mapbiulders/creators were allowed to bend the 'set objects rule'

so that they could put bridges over rivers e.t.c.

also the return of the tunnels and gv burrow thingies(cant remeber correct name) would be awesome,

P.S. what happened to em? why were they ditched?

HT doesn't want maps of large size.Costume objects and textures increase map file greatly

Plus if there is a major change in a game update, these maps become obsolete most of the time. HTC (I think) doesn't want to filter out the obsolete terrains from the working ones every time they generate an update.

Somewhere in another thread HT said he didn't know the tunnels disappeared. I don't think they're back yet.
