Title: AH exe file WILL NOT EXECUTE.

I recently formatted and reinstalled windows (ME) and after Downloading the V5 drivers and DX8a (all the stuff I had before) whenever i click to run AH the screen turns black, changes res for a sec and then kicks me back to desktop.  the whole thing lasts about 3 seconds.

UPDATE:
Ok, i totally removed AH from my system, including sites and all video settings.

I redownloaded and reinstalled AH and trid again.

The video setup comes up nad i selscetd the lowest requirements (640x480x16)

when I hit Ok it flickered and sent me to desktop.

AH STILL WONT INSTALL.

Strange.

Is it possible your download is corrupt?

I will download the base install now and try it here at work to see if I get any issues.

Try deleting the video.cfg file in the settings directory again.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/confused.gif)

I AM AN IDIOT!

I use headphones, so i DIDNT notice that i had forgot to install my sound card drivers..thats why it wouldent start.. fixed now btw.
