Attention GV'ers,
Every monday at 9 P.M. Eastern the AvA staff have made the Axis Vs. Allies arena " ALL GV's ", yes you read that right ALL GV's.A place where it's ALL Ground Vehicles.All this combined with the respect you get while playing in the AvA makes for some great times.
So all you dedicated Tankers bring your arse and have some fun for a change.:aok

I appreciate THIS change a lot. I am terrible in gvs & this is a great chance to find some even-number gv fights to learn the trade.

I know from experience that there are quite a bit of Dedicated Tank drivers out there and since the numbers were low in the AvA and we don't really have a place to strictly GV we might help that arena out.
Let's see how many GV'ers we can get to start showing up for this.Maybe it will become an every week kinda thing you never know.

I am looking to get started with this right after the new year. Im going to get in contact with some of the dedicated GV guys and work out some details. If any of you want to shoot me a PM with some ideas feel free.

Thanks Slash it will be a very wise decision on be1/2 of the AvA staff to provide the GV'ers with a place to have an ALL TANK BATTLE for a change.After the first of the year i will be contcting all the former attendee's of Tank Klubb and passing the word around, with the Goal of making this the Highest attended night of the week in the AvA.

The members of JG-3 have always had a large number of us that enjoy a good tank battle. That is our normal squad night but I am sure we can work something out. I for one spend a lot of time in GV's just for the pure fun of it, and would enjoy such a venture. I hate losing my Tigers to Bombs. It is about time that HT recognized those of us that are dedicated to the Pure Tank War!

Sounds sweet will it be. Will it be T34 and M8 V Tiger and Panzer, or not the true AvA and just a big Tank battle? This could lead to a Gv KOH:eek:

This will be a GV war right? A couple of years ago we had a GV battle once a week in the dueling arena, eventually it fizzled out. Hopefully, this can be an 24/7 thing. My concern, is holding the GV communities attention span with regards to objectives and total war effort. ex. Has it been researched to have ability to capture cities, strat factories and HQ for the win? Is there relevance to strat factories? IF anyone has ever played ww2online they have a great strategy concept with the above mentioned questions in mind but they do have playability issues which always brings me back here. I would love to see this grow into a mega monster so that the company has to take notice and support our efforts and finally have some of our wishlists realized and put into actions with regards to more vehicles and such. Looking forward to it!

Well i have a new map design i am working with in H2H.I have stopped the spawn campers & base porkers.You should stop by tonight &check it out sometime.

A date has not been set on when this is happening. I already stated more than once it will be after the holidays.

Yes sir, on reflection on the thread down in the middle of it, yes, you said that. Respectfully, I would say to not post anything on it till it is ready to roll. There were MANY people there this evening ready to roll.

There has been alot of positive response on this from many of you. It will run. Being that it is going to be in the AvA, I suggest all further discussions and input be posted there. Its alot easier that way.

He is right, this thread was to bring awareness to those who don't read the AvA thread that often.
The turn out is awesome.let the AvA staff get a game plan worked out and we will have to go from there.

I meant stop by my H2H room, i thought it was clear, thats my bad if it wasn't.
I am glad that all of ya showed up anyway, did any of you at least stay & play in there for a while?

I wanted to add my support for this event and the hope that it becomes permanent. Monday nights are bad for me, but I will do my best to be there.
Keep us informed on the develpoments.

I will allow myself to be calm and patient and await the official opening of this new experimental arena! I AINT GONNA LIKE IT, lol... But I'll do it. I might suggest we all be a little more patient, as our day to face off with each other is coming! Keep your powder dry Gentlemen, and Salute!

You guys should stop by my h2H room titles GV LAND TEAM BATTLE currently hosted in the H2H area.I have a PT Boat area that looks like the Everglades .There are no planes available and unlike the current on-line situation maps are updated every day.
Let me explain the map updates.
1.I make a map.
2.I host the map.
3.The players play on the map and tell
me what they like or dislike about the map,
then i change whatever needs changed
based on thier suggestions.
This all works very well since the maps are designed around the players there is endless amounts of fun to be had.
Hope to see some of you guys in there , although i may be afk, take a stroll out to the city find yourself a spot shoot from and wait for the victims to show themselves.
