Having had a load of fun with the RV8 last night I would like the most produced plane that flew during WWII as a GV spotter
The Polikarpov U-2LSh (later called Po-2) (http://www.pilotfriend.com/photo_albums/timeline/ww2/2/Polikarpov%20U%202%20Po%202.htm)
Particularly if it was available from vehicle fields...............
No pilot operated guns ...........
but this particular model had a single rear cockpit 7.62mm and 4 x 82mm rockets or upto 120Kg bombs (eg 2 x 50 kg AH bombs) on the wings

Why not Aphrodite's?
We've got an unlimited supply of b24s and B17s. Add a bit of torpex and BOOM! Perfect for those guys who bomb and bail. this time they can bail and hope the guy in another plane can guide the unmanned bomber to the target!
And yeah, I'm kidding :)

yeah, we should have those TBMs witht the kamikaze 2000lbs UAVs
point click & pwn from 50 miles away:O :O :O :O :O :aok :aok

I'm no english teacher but first lets fix the minor errors in your sentence.
At the begining of ever sentence you need to Capitalize your letters. You also forgot an r in sorry. In the word can't you need a ' (located left of your enter key) As I say I'm not an english teacher but I believe you need a camma (,) after I can't spell(,) I am only in the 8th grade. Here this will make it easier. Any thing with a () is where a mistake once was.
(I) am sor(r)y that (I) can(')t spell(,) (I) am only in (the) 8th grade(.) (I) can(')t spell (even) if my life depended on it(.)
Other than that, it looks like your spelling is right. (Don't worry I'm a bad speller too)

The germans did develope a acustic guided missle no one knows if one was acualy used in combat. It was suposed to be used on 190's and 262's.
My history teacher kills me on my bad spelling (she used to be an english teacher)
they need spell check on the forms

No they didn't. They had developed acoustic torpedoes but not any acoustic guided missles.

What are those? Google doesn't know about them, perhaps it's a secret project?
-
it was a top secret weapon that they were developing
i found out about it in the book Secret Weapons of Word War 2 you can find it at Barns & Nobles i did buy it about 5 years ago so they might not have it any more:)
it has stuff about every thing in the war from the ballon bomers from japan to german sam that they were developing which was a mini v2 which was radio controled at day and i think radar controled at night
all were secrets they have the mini v2 sam in battlefield 1942 expansion secret weapons on i think one map

And of course, it will be modelled with the faulty arming switch that in most cases blew up the plane as it was being armed.

I don't know why they'd try to develop an acoustically guided missile as a radio guided one would be far easier to develop and far more practicle. Sound travels better and further in water, hence the development of acoustic torpedoes but since sound doesn't travel as well in the atmosphere than it does in water, an acoustic guided missile wouldn't have the range nor accuracy of a radio guided missile. Maybe with today's technology it might be just as effective but with 1940's technology, I seriously doubt any such consideration was done beyond the initial design process.
Think about it, it acoustic guided missiles were any good, you'd think we'd still be using them or at least developed them further after the war if what you say (and I don't think it is, after all BF1942 isn't a really good source of information) is true.

the mini v2 sam was radio gided not acustic guided. an air to air misile was suposed to be radio guided but the pilot had to much to do so they then changed to a acustic mic would pick up the engen or prop and gide it in it was for short range use only it is in a book
they ran out of time
