What would you think would be the outcome for Holland or France, if the Koolhoven FK.58 was in mass production before Holland was over run by Germany in WW2. Do you think this fighter could have helped Netherlands last longer in the war, or helped France with the air power over the Battle of France? Do you think it could match the german bf109, or Me110 fighters? You choose and decide, and please post your thoughts.

Not much faster than a Hurricane and with only 4 light MG's I dont think it would have helped much. It is a nice looking aircraft though.

france was taken not because they had outdated equip, but outdated tactics

HIJACKED POST!
Man this thing went off topic over the French.
[note to self: Never add the word France, or French with the words Fall, destroyed, overran, or any negitive words that deal to the loss of something]
I blaim the French officers, and leaders for the cause, not the soldiers. I believe 400,000 French soldiers died in WW2 defending their land. A big salute to them

Given it's low top speed, small calibre guns, and low climb rate, I'd so no, it wouldn't have affected anything other than padding Moelder's and Galland's (among others) kill scores.

Even if they had a squadron of F16s it would not have changed much. They lost the war on the ground and not by a small margin.
