Title: Here it is again (AH causes Crash on Exit)

I had this before under WIN98 / DX8 and thought was a bug with RW/DX8 . (Bug caused me to have a system error, I would then not be able to launch AH twice, but had to reboot between sessions).

I now moved to WinMe with it's DX7.1 ... and had NO trouble for a few days...then, Bang, here it is again...


Problem is, if I do get that error, I can't Power down my system(it just freezes), I can Reboot alright though...

Has this been seen ? is there a fix to it ?

Rip out RW right now.  Just remove it all together.  Once you get everything else working, then try setting RW up again and using wav recording.

If you remove RW and you are still having problems, you have some other problem.  DX8 may be in order.  That, or you have a larger system issue like a resource conflict of some sort.

Geemans system is almost identical to yours, Mass, but he has DX8.0 and NO RW set up.No problems with his ME

I will be setting it up to Wav tonight...

I realy nead "Voice Comms" as I s*ck when flying alone, I need someone to watch over me... and let's admit..nothing comes close to Voice comms for that.
